FlexShade fixed frame panels provide sunlight filtration at a lower cost than operable solutions. They are particularly well suited for skylights and sloped glazing in solariums or odd-shaped openings. (Not suitable for curved framing).

Use FlexShade Panels to help prevent ultraviolet damage to ex pen sive textiles and furniture located in direct sunlight. Relieve the dis com fort from solar heat and glare often associated with un protect ed glazing. You can utilize almost any of Drap er's mesh fabrics. FlexShade Panels are per ma nent ly at tached to light weight alu mi num frames. A wide range of open ness factors are available, ranging from 1% to 23%.

Heavy-duty fixed panels utilize an extruded alu mi num frame. Frames are avail able in dark bronze, white or mill finish alu mi num. Panels mount easily on surface or within framing of win dows with clips (see details below). Clips allow removal of FlexShade Panels for routine main te nance and cleaning.

Available in sizes up to 5' x 10'. Panels exceeding 40" in length require a center support member.

Product Specifications

Fixed panels, for interior and exterior applications, to consist of aluminum framing, with open weave glare control fabrics splined in frame groove with vinyl spline. Fabrics available in a variety of openness configurations and colors, to be specified from manufacturer’s standard offering. Frames attach to glazing frames, either inside or surface style, with clips provided. Units for mounting on building exterior install in extruded slide tracks. Removable for cleaning and maintenance. Framing: Extruded framing, to be min. of 3/4" x 3/8" x .019", or larger, at manufacturer’s discretion. Units exceeding 40" in length or width to have center cross brace. Finish available in mill finish aluminum, dark bronze, or white. Mounting clips heads will closely match frame finish. Heavy duty extruded track available for mounting on exterior of building. Mounting hardware by others.

SunScreen® SW1000 by Phifer

For reducing solar heat gain in the summer and heat loss in the winter. SunScreen® may be installed on the exterior or interior of glass areas. Sw1000 is a vinyl-coated fiberglass, woven in a ribbed pattern. Virtually maintenance free— non-combustible and will not rust, corrode, shrink, scratch or stain. Approximate openness factor of 23%. Up to 84" roll width. 8.5 oz./sq. yd., .019" thick. Available in five colors.
